My Dad's darkroom and my own early interests in art and photography led me to complete a Degree in Photography from Ryerson Polytechnic University and start a versatile, continually evolving photographic career. I shoot commercially (mostly editorial portraiture and architectural subjects); I teach (design, photography and photo-based fine art techniques); and I provide restoration and retouching services. Whether I'm working for clients or students or whether I'm producing my own digital, photo-based fine art work, I always seek to convey the distinctive essence of my subject/s. I concern myself primarily with composition, division of visual space, light, and colour.
